This training session offers a deep dive into the practical application of Iowa’s Specially Designed Instruction (SDI) Framework for developing and implementing Individualized Education Program (IEP) behavior goals. Over three hours, educators will learn how to use data-driven decision-making to create and apply customized behavioral teaching interventions that align with the unique needs of students. The session will emphasize the importance of adapting content, methodology, and delivery of instruction to support students’ access to the general curriculum and achieve educational standards. An overview of effective curriculums aligned to instructional needs will be presented.
