DMPS Summer Institute 2024

Special education and related services are available only to students who are eligible for those services. The IDEA and the Iowa Code contain specific guidance on what that means. This session will provide an overview of that guidance as it relates to completing Reevaluations. Staff will be introduced to Iowa's 10 Eligibility and Evaluation Standards (EES) as well as a tool they can use to assist them in planning reevaluations, collecting appropriate evidence, and documenting reevaluations in Achieve.
