Autism Training: Communication and Functional Communication Training FILLING

This session will provide information on the value of, and how to provide aided language stimulation to students in an SLC. Participants will be introduced to a variety of communication aids and strategies that support student communication needs. Additionally, information will be provided to encourage staff to learn about the practice of Functional Communication Training (FCT) and how communication impacts behavior.
