DMPS Summer Institute 2024

Participants will gain a deeper understanding of trauma and its impact on the work we do. The first half of the session will explore the effect trauma has on the brain and strategies for working with children who have experienced trauma. The second half will focus on how that work affects us as professionals; understanding compassion fatigue and practicing self-care.
